Hmmmmm that looks very much like another one of those boringly accurate rifles that Terry has blueprinted and tuned within a inch of its life.

It's about now I again curse my parentage for being left handed .... in fact I'd almost turn righty for this... well almost! but then its a thumbhole stock, so for me that's one step too far or it would be going to the 09 to live..

It's annoying how good he gets these guns to shoot in real life situations, not just at paper, and consistently. This is one I can personally vouch is super good, bull barrel (does Howa still do those? I keep seeing pencil barrels out there) DPT supressor - its all there...

if anyone out there wants a varmint rifle @Scouser!!! @northdude if your mates are looking for one I'd strongly support this purchase decision.

    CD.

I know it is faster and carries more energy, out past 300 or so, but what about rifle weight, amo availability and price to a non reloading shooter. Wanted for wallabys mainly

Ammo is more expensive but its like a .308 case so more powder by far.

Its heavy barrell with heavy stock (Not their usual rubbish)

It ll out kill a .223 many times over. Premium ammo = $2.00 a bang .. 20 usually kills 20 things though lol

Thing is you dont waste much

Perfect for Wallabys Pengy thats why ideal varminter explosive rounds slamming at huge speeds are so spectacular - hope you didn't want to eat that... BTW... factory ammo whilst not at a 223 level is commensurate with the result did you see that piggy at 300 odd a blimmin laser beam worthy of wallaby's fella..

I was thinking more for the shooter currently using the Valmet... As I've gotta wean that one off that wonderful piece of engineering somehow!!! Love that rifle!!
Two rifles in the last 2 years I should have just sucked it up and bought (both same cal) the H&K SL7 and the Valmet Hunter....Yeah for some reason I've got a 308 thing going on

I wasn't kidding about the 22-250 its not bad at all accuracy wise...just sayin....

Yeah for some reason I've got a 308 thing going on
