    Husky 1600 .270

    Husky 1600 in .270 Winchester.

This is the slim small ring action which is a Husky design with the best of the 96 and 98 Mauser designs thrown into it. Was going to turn it into 280 Ack Imp but I'm building a new house which keeps blowing the budget.

It is the earlier version of the rifle and has steel bottom metal, not the cheaper aluminium one which would always lose its finish.

Comes with Leupold rings/bases and Redfield 3-9x40 with accurange reticle. I've used this effectively on gong plates consistently out to 650 yards.
Has a Timney sportsman trigger (no safety) and the original one with the attached safety. 8-9/10 bore condition. Shoots around 1 moa with various loads i've tried.

$950ono or consider splitting up. PM for details

Forgot to mention the Timney is also gone. No big loss, as although its not as light, the original still breaks nice and clean with minimal creep.
