    Husqvarna 1600 30-06

Selling my beloved Husky. Iím going down the backpacking/takedown path, and itís either this or my vixen that has to go.

Really nice old 1600, nice wood and overall in fine condition for its age. Shoots well, and isnít too heavy (the 1600 was the lightweight rifle of its day).

After $800 ono including RCBS die set.

Be a great starter gun for someone setting up. The 6.5x55 has to be one of my favourite calibres....

Not just a great starters rifle - itís well built, elegant and collectible, not something you trade up from.

would if I could, but I cant.... I have a soft spot for lovely old girls like that.
far nicer than any plastic spastic T3 or the likes.
nothing in the country will walk away from an 06...for an old cartridge it still has a hell of a lot to offer, loaded down a little it is pleasant as heck to shoot, sure it uses a little more powder than an 08 to do it...but she is a lovely old rifle...loaded up with 180-200grn round nose projectiles and she would be a beast slayer of epic proportions.....something 165ish and longer range animals in power of trouble.....if I didnt own a poohseventy that I ve had for 30 years and an 08 that I like I would be all over this.
Ive loaded soft 125grn projectiles for a mate and he would decapitate goats with it....bog standard 150grn Belmont loads have never let him down on wallabies pigs or deer.
    someone BUY HER....

I have already got one, and a 9.3x62 in the same 1600 model

They are lightish weight and they shoot very well
The buyer will be very happy with this rifle.
