    Husqvarna 6.5x55

This is a really nice Husqvarna 6.5x55.

Barrel is superb. This thing shoots crazy good. I am not an expert at open sights by any means (and don't really do service rifle shooting - thus why I have reluctantly decided to sell this) - but I've had no issue consistently getting 30mm 5 shot groups at 100 metres with bulk-pack Norma factory ammo. Expect it could do better with someone who has mastered open sights and handloads or whatever...

Wood and bluing are both very good as pictured. Bolt, action and butt plate numbers match. As is typical, a couple of the minor parts do not match.

I bought this off Carlsen Highway a while ago and I think he really rated it too (or at least he told me he did ;o) - he also mentions it very favourably in his book).

$750 incl postage (Fastways Depot to Depot or sports shop). Can possibly deliver in the greater Chch area.

    Thanks.

Best military rifle to never see active service. If I were single or wanted to soon become single I would buy this...what a great piece

Superlative accuracy for a military rifle of that era - any era really.
