    Husqvarna chainsaws

    I have:

a 281XP with a new 288 top end kit from Mikes Outdoors, has new crank seals/fuel hose/filter/carb kit/spark plug, near new chain and bar. Sat unused for about 5 years due to a split fuel tank. $600

a 281XP with new crank seals/fuel hose/filter/carb kit/spark plug, near new chain and bar. $400

a H55 with new crank bearings/seals/fuel hose/filter/carb kit/spark plug. This has sat in a box in pieces for about 8 years, the original owner was a tight arse who used engine oil instead of 2 stroke oil which gummed up the crank bearings so its done hardly any work. $350

These are all my own firewood saws, selling cos the Mrs put her foot down when I brought a 395, apparently I dont need 9 chainsaws to do our fire wood....

Cash talks! Could be keen on a part trade for a .308 or 30.06. The 350 is sold.

Um, yeah, there's talk that you don't need to buy a new saw when your old one is blunt, you can, apparently, re sharpen the chain...

10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

Ha - You might need 9 if you're cutting hardwood poles like those in your trailer. I'd love a 281 to go with my 181 ("start it like ya stole it" - no decompression) but am broke just now as they are great saws, mine has killed a couple of Sthils going hard competing on really big firewood trees. I'll have a 308 Model 7 and an other rifle for trade in a month or so.
