    ive contacted nz customs to verify ok or not and will advise when known.

    Have you taken my comment the wrong way?
    I think it's a pretty nifty little device, and I hope it would be legal.

    I didn't think to much about my thought process really, just came as a surprise to me that we would be allowed them for some reason.
    Maybe just because we don't have many rights when it comes to defending ourselves and our properties.
    Like no pepper spray or no tasers.

    Not trying to have a dig at you, just interested in your thought process. I guess we've been conditioned to assume that thinks that go bang are illegal, or at least require a licence.

    still no response from nz customs 2 emails,aust deco onto it and see no problems but to confirm for those interested.
