    Izhmash Tigr 7.62 x 54r Straight Pull - New Condition + Ammo

Up for sale is my straight pull Tigr, basically brand new and as yet unfired. I just don't have time or the place to really utilise this rifle, which is a shame really as I've always liked the SVD. Probably $4,400 RRP for everything. Happy to provide more photos.

    - New in box Izhmash (Kalashnikov Concern) Tigr made in the Izhevsk factory https://ak.kalashnikovgroup.ru/card/svd
    - 7.62 x 54r
    - NPZ PO 3-9x24 with illuminated reticle (original Russian optic from Novosibirsk Instrument Plant) Pancratic Optic Sight PO3-9x24 binocular, optic sights, night optic sight, devices of night vision, night vision glasses, night field-glasses, laser range finders
    - 3 boxes (60 rounds) of Sellier & Bellot 180gr SP ammo https://www.sellier-bellot.cz/en/pro...sp/detail/129/
    - Cleaning rod, oiler, one 10rnd magazine, case extractor/tool
    - Silicone sock in tactical green
    - AK sling, I think it's East German.

    $3,600 ONO

I would rather be shot out of a cannon, than squeezed out of a tube.

If I had the coin, it would be mine.

    Nice rifle.

So the straight pull involves just using the charging handle on the existing bolt carrier, somehow I would have expected something better. That would become tiring quite quickly.

That's correct. I've seen some charging handle extension type products, but nothing fancy. Is Russian rifle after all!

A faster to charge version of the traditional bolt gun with the ability to keep your eye in the scope. Not sure why you would get tired. Maybe you need to exercise more?

These are very accurate. I feel like a bolt on extension for the charging handle would enhance the functionality 10 fold.

As it is it would be difficult I think to keep cheek weld having to reach forward that far something around where the safety lever is would be ideal I think

Yeah but think of all those goats that would not see you coming MH!

Nah I can't make it work in my head either, these things need to be semi auto.
