@Pook, look at the MSR Windburner

It puts most other systems to shame in terms of boil speed and wind handling.

These look grand, can't imagine they come up for offer very often.

One of them struggles at altitude or do they both struggle?

All isopro gas canisters will start to struggle at altitude unless they are inverted.

There is a windburner model out now that allows you to run the gas canister inverted.

I very rarely go above 1500m ASL, and have not had an issue.

If high altitude is an issue for you, look at a pressurized liquid fuel system.

eg MSR Whisperlite multi fuel. I like its features. Not sure about its wind handling ability.

I'm a dinosaur, I still have an ancient 1st model gas cylinder stove and my old white spirits Optimus ( Threw is away once and then retrieved it.)

My highest altitude capability nowadays unfortunately is climbing the the stairs to my house's second story.
