    Join the #27GANG *pic heavy*

    Custom Rifle:

Rem 700 Detachable Magazine action blueprinted by Tom Curtis (action was from a custom shop 270 so it has extra flash scroll work engraving)
    Lilja 3 Groove 1-8 27" in 270 Win, threaded 9\16x24 TPI
bedded into a McMillan Edge-tech Carbon hunter stock for the DM action
    Terminator T2 brake
20 MOA EGW rail bedded to action
    3.2kg bare or 7lb
    2 x 5 round magazines
    2lb trigger job
    3 Die set
    100 x Norma Brass 1 x Fired
    20 x Winchester Brass
    40 x Hornady Brass

    Shoots well:
Factory 130 grain Winchester at 3200fps into 12mm
    Factory 145 ELD-X at 3005fps into 11mm
    Factory 130 AB at 3000fps into 10mm

    My hand loads:

    145 ELD-X at 3100 into 10mm
    110 TTSX at 3530 into 13mm

These are not max loads either... still developing.

    Needs a cerakote to finish.

    After $3k posted with everything.

I have shot this rifle to 1100m and it performed exceptionally in the wind. This was going to be a 7-300 NM but the barrels got held up so I was offered a .277 barrel at a discount and went that way. The lilja is a 3 groove and cleans up very fast, faster than the proof in the safe and will stabilise the 170 Bergers. I have not been able to get any as of yet to try but I reckon you will get 2900+ in the 27" tube with the right powder.

I'm only selling as this rifle is not doing anything the 7 SAUM and 264 Win Mag are not already. 270 is a mint cal and with this long barrel I am out performing my 264 with less powder and a heavier bullet. Keep it as is or have it re-chambered to 27 Nosler, Terminator products quoted me $300 for this plus freight. Norma brass is available (26 Nosler) and a 28 Nosler bushing die from Whidden with the correct bush would be under $100 NZD shipped....

270 Winchester, magnum performance in a standard case...

    Barricade pic from GASC ?

Gotta love the 3-groover Liljas. My FTR rig currently has one and they are stupidly easy to clean

Mate! I'd keep the 270 and say goodbye to the 264 just saying... (270 Winchester, magnum performance in a standard case...) spot on with that one. Would you part with the Hornady brass? Was going to buy some new but if you are willing to part?
