Okay - a free bump - what model 2-7 do you seek ?? I have two that I like very much but they are the S2 model so first focal plane and 26mm steel. I really want a more modern Kahles 3-9 but not enough to sacrifice a 2-7 !!

Helia CT ideally, have an old fixed 2.5 power Kahles but the 26mm rings that the steel tube models are rare as rocking horse shit so prefer to stick to 1in tube.

would you be interested in selling the 2.5X, I have a couple of sets of 26mm rings just waiting for a good scope.

Just to add to this thread, I have a Kahles S2 3-9x42 in really nice condition that I'd part with. Its a 26mm tube with a plain fairly fine crosshair (i.e. not a 4A/7A duplex type). Its the FFP type. I guess its worth $500??

How much does the 3-9 weight ??

This guy might be worth a chat too, lots of interesting stuff . . . . Premium Optics Australia | New and second hand scopes - both new and used
