    Knives for sale

    I admit it - I have a knife problem!
I like buying them, using them, sharpening them, trying different steels, different designs etc, etc.

One thing I don't like doing is selling knives (or guns for that matter). So they tend to accumulate.
However, I have another couple of Bark River Knives on there way from the USA, so I am biting the bullet and reducing inventory

I have a range of knives up for grabs. Some a cheaper knives that I have been given or have won as prizes, and some are more expensive knives that I have purchased to try out the more exotic steels or blade design. There are also a coupe of nice pocket size folders that I purchased from the USA when I was looking for my ideal EDC that sits in the coin pocket of my jeans.

    1. All prices are +postage at cost
    2. All knives are in great condition with most never having been sharpened other than stropping
    3. The folding pocket knives made of plain carbon steel have a patina on them, but no rusting/pitting

Spyderco FB30G Southfork by Phil Wilson
As New - has skinned 1 deer and been stropped back to razor sharp. I bought it to try out the steel which is very highly rated and not commonly used in production knives due to the cost. Spyderco are one of the few manufacturers using it.

    Buck Folder
Not sure of the model number of this knife. I've had it a long time and it has always ridden in my pack as a backup knife due to its universal shape and light weight, but I have never had a situation occur where I have had to resort to my backup.
Hence it has only ever been stropped, never stoned.

    Length closed: 125mm
    Blade length: 80mm
    Liner locking on blade
    Sheath: NIL

    Knives of Alaska Featherlite Bird/Trout
This is a very cool lightweight knife designed for what is says - bird and trout. I bought it to test out the D2 steel.

    Spyderco Dragonfly2
I bought this for the steel - ZDP-189 (one of the new super steels), with the intention of using it as an EDC. The size is right for EDC but I'm personally not into the blade shape of the Spyderco folders so I haven't used it.

    Blade Length: 2-5/16"
    Closed Length: 3-5/16"
    Overall Length: 5-9/16"
    Cutting Edge: 1-7/8"
    Steel: ZDP-189 Premium Stainless Steel

Great Eastern Cutlery: #57 Tidioute - Halfwhitt - Exotic Mexican Bocote
This is one of the EDC knives I trialed before settling on my GEC 'scout'. Has done come EDC tasks and the blades have patina due to peeling oranges and the like. Nice knife and just the right size for pocket carry.

Blade Length: 55mm large, 40mm small
    Closed Length: 90mm
    Steel: 1095 carbon steel

PRICE $70 (cost US$89.00 plus freight)

Great Eastern Cutlery: #68 - Tidioute - Mexican Bocote - Clip Point
Another EDC trial. Has done come EDC tasks and the blades have patina due to peeling oranges and the like. Nice knife and just the right size for pocket carry. This knife is slimmer than the #57.

Blade Length: 60mm large, 40mm small
    Closed Length: 90mm
    Steel: 1095 carbon steel

PRICE $70 (cost US$82.00 plus freight)

    Unbranded Damascus lock blade folder
This is a slightly larger EDC, and too large for me to carry in the coin pocket of my jeans.
Nice geometry and would probably rate as a 'gentleman's knife'. Well made with a nice snap to the open/close of the blade. Has been stropped but not used.

    Blade Length: 75mm
    Closed Length: 100mm
    Steel: Damascus

    PRICE $20

Nothing is tough about having a 70 lb bow and looking like an uncoordinated praying mantis while trying to draw it back.

Technically no. I used it on the long weekend for the first time and as a result of its performance I had decided that if no one wanted it at $200 +freight I would keep it. Its a bloody nice knife and performed camp duties really well. If you want it at $200 +freight I will let it go, but I am not going to discount it as the longer its around the more I like it. PM me if you are interested.
