    Krico .222

    Hi,

I have, as the title says, a German made .222 rifle. It has been a great gun and has shot me a fair few deer over the years, but its time for something else.

It was made in 1963 and is one of the first of the Model 600 rifles to be made. (As stated in an email from the Krico factory in Germany.)

It is not completely original. It has been rebarrelled with a Remington .222 barrel and I have had a new walnut stock made for it. (I still have original barrel if you wanted it.)

The rifle does not come with the scope, just the rings and bases. I am just after decent offers, so PM me if you are interested.

The scope is just a tasco 4x32, but it does the job. The original barrel still shot ok. I just replaced it as it had an oil ring a couple of inches from the muzzle and I didn't want to shorten it. Somebody will eventually grab it I'm sure. You don't get many European firearms this cheap. The action is as smooth as any modern action, so those Germans knew what they were doing.

You need to put some air in those tyres to stop the bumping!

Ha! I've always preferred bumpy travel to smooth sailing!
