First post on the forum , and its a “ can I take advantage of the changing firearms situation in NZ “ post
There has been a number of North American new members lately , and it seems that for every good guy there are a couple that can only see opportunity in others misfortune.
If I could make a suggestion to administrators, I would be eliminate any new member that posts in the Buy Sell Swap section until they have at least made it into double figures on their post count .

On one hand its sucks that people may take advantage of our misfortune. The other side of the coin is that maybe some good might come from our losses.

Give the guy a break, he is no doubt a gun nut like us here, and if he can get parts to complete his L1A1 all above board, let him ask...
Dont be so fast to condemn everyone because they forgot to say "Hi".

Dont forget this is a public forum and will be under huge scrutiny. Encouraging a licensed firearm user to break laws or bend them for financial gain and possible loss of said license?

Can't blame the guy. I would argue that it's just a wire handle, and isn't necessary in any way to make the rifle function, like a sling or a scope mount.
