Question Layout blind help !!!!! Borrow/hire North Canterbury

Hi guys, I have been offered the opportunity to try out a goose hunt tonight, I had a blind lined up to borrow but my mate has been called away to work and won't be back in time.
I would just buy one but this was my opportunity to try bird hunting before committing to more hunting gear.
Is there any GC reasonable distance from Oxford that would loan me one in exchange for beers or whatever ?
If desperate I can get one but its down in Rakaia so trying for something closer if possible.
Could look at hooking you up with a night on the hares if that tickles your fancy ?

So you'll be selling rifles, and buying shotgun and all other associated equipment now?
Good night on the geese by the looks of it

I already have a shotgun, Not a bad night 26 geese accounted for. They were cagey as was quite hard getting them to come in.
A lot flew in then just as coming into range they spooked off. Still great fun

Yup....cunning buggers alright. They'll land in the same area for a couple of days, 3rd day set up and just land in another paddock. Good times

I am gonna need my own layout blind, one that's suitable for a tall fella, I borrowed a groundforce and my neck was sitting on the rear crossbar which isn't ideal, anyone got any recommendations ?

That's what I started with. Worked well. Have a sack full of it somewhere.

Just after Xmas Cabelas tend to sell off the game bird gear at low prices.

you also started with the splendid cerise longjohns which illnever forget!
like you im now the owner of screeds of camo and scrim enough to cover my wagon in case donald Mctrump hoves into view looking for a former personal lawyer.
seriously -have made myself an extremely portable 2man blind out of one lot of camo-ideal for a quick set and a bloody sight easier to carry than my l/d blind.

I went full stealth mode fishing from the kayak at the weekend, ... longjohns deployed.
