    I also have 87 x 303 rounds;
    27 x PPU - New purchased this year
    60 x CAC 54 7 - Military surplus. A few of which have had the bullet hollowed.

    Not sure how shipping would work, with the older ammo not being new or boxed.

    Any thoughts how much I should be asking for it?

    What is the manufacturer? Will be on left side of the receiver. Are the numbers matching? Barrel still have bayonet lugs and condition of bore? 2 or 5 groove rifling?

    As its been severely chopped down it has very limited appeal.

    for the rifle itself between $100-$200 because of the wood. It can go up or down depending if there are matching numbers, bayonet lug, wood condition, barrel bore and original sights. In theory for 303s the more original the better. Look on trademe for similar models and conditions for your preferred price but honestly my original estimate from just looking at it is the most common SOLD price for this type of condition. with the ammo, maybe abit more but at the end of the day, it's only worth what someone's prepared to pay.

    From the bolt catch it's english made not savage or long branch so will be 5 groove, the muzzle looks shortened so the bayonet lugs are probably gone. Its got the 300/600 2 position rear sight not the Bennett ladder one so thats probably a good estimate of value given the wood. If its a no1 rather than 1*and the bayonet lugs are still there it could be worth more as original stocks can be found. Your ammo is worth $ 1 to $1.20 a round.

    I thought you were going to sell it here. Not seek a price and list it on trade me.

    That was the plan @jim160 , I didn't think anyone was interested.

    Riffle $150 + postage
    Ammo $90 Pick up only.

    Buyer must have current firearms licence and complete a firearms mail order form (if wanting it couriered)
    I will put it on TradeMe tomorrow if there isn't any interest here.

    Ok. Well it didn't sound like you were going to sell it on here.
    It sounded like you just wanted to know what it was worth and then put on trade me.

    No harm done.

    At least you now have a price on it so now someone can offer to buy it. Without a price, it's pointless.
