    Lee Enfield No1MkIII

Finally got approval to sell some estate items, start with this a No1MkIII 1915 BSA SMLE. This is a MkIII, not a III* so has the slot for the mag cutoff but does not have the volley sight setup or windage adjustable rear sight.

Good overall cond. for 102 years young, mismatched bolt but everything else looks like it's meant too.

Never fired it, so don't know how it groups. Be worthwhile getting the headspace done as per...

Draws seem ok, no movement apparent in the back end although I have never had this apart and never shot it (estate item so have stored on behalf for the family). Bore is shiny but is showing the usual useage for age, I would class as good condition (have seen a lot worse that shot reasonably). I'm hesitant to slap a figure out of 10 as it's such a subjective measure, but it seems like a decent rifle all around. I don't currently have any decent ammo here so I can't shoot it but that would be the way to see!!!
