    Lee Enfield screws

Just recently in this section seen a guy after screws for a rear sight that fitted in place of the rear volley sights on a long tom 303
The ones that are on the left side of the wrist.
Where the safety ended up on later models.
Made me have some dangerous thoughts
After a couple for a possible rear sight project myself if they arent the same. rice as uranium.
    Any about? How much?

    Bumpity
None about or do you usually have to buy the volley sight with it?
Pity they are such a stupid thread otherwise I'd have a crack at making them. Lathe artwork a bit big to cut them

You won’t need a permit for such screws as they are not critical parts. Just get an email from your arms officer to this effect before importing

I didnt even do that for a #1 nose cap , and bands . Most senders know not to ID parts as off a gun .

@omark yeah but having to go to the coppers for a pair of screws is a pain. Be nice if the copshop 2 minutes away would do it (heaps of cops but not no desk front), but having to go into central in the middle of chch is a nuisance especially for a couple of screws

Just order them off ebay ....UK is best . Customs will never know what a couple of screws are ....and if it all turns to shit ....well you havent exactly lost the farm . I have had no problems so far , but then I havent bought anything like a barrel or trigger set . I will go see the plods for some stock repro's. Custom gunsmith here says its easy ,specially for historic repairs/maintainance . Carpe the diem
