Leica ER 2.5-10X42 riflescope - new

Leica ER 2.5-10X42 Riflescope - New

New, never mounted Leica ER 2.5-10X42 riflescope, duplex reticle. Warranty not filled out.

I bought this superb scope for a friend's 60th birthday only to find out that he has given up hunting. Was going to keep it for myself but just had to pay for eye laser surgery so I'm reluctantly selling it.

This scope is the favourite of Davey Hughes of Swazi (as mentioned in his book) and is considered the equal in quality to the best scopes in the world such as S&B, Swarovski Z6, Zeiss Victory.

The ER 2.5-10x42 Riflescope from Leica features an outstanding optical design and reliable internal mechanics. This rugged, yet extremely refined, sighting solution is well suited for hunting or precision shooting.

Combining a magnification range of 2.5-10x with a 42 mm objective offering excellent versatility optimized for twilight performance. Leica’s legendary optical genius adds cutting edge technology to this already high performance optic; precision ground lenses with AquaDura coatings produce an extremely crisp and well-detailed sight picture.

    •Scope Weight: 15.1 oz.
    •Scope Length: 12.5" - 13"
    •Magnification Range: 2.5-10x
    •Scope Objective Diameter: 42 mm
    •Scope Tube Size / Mount: 30 mm
    •Scope Turret Adjustment: .25 MOA
    •Reticle Position: second
    •Field of View: 43.5' @ 100 yds.
    •Eye Relief: 3.94"
    •Scope Finish: matte black

The duplex reticle has nicely weighted posts with a very fine centre crosshair.

These retail in NZ for approx. $2,400

Will sell for $1,500 post free.

Will get some pics up tomorrow.

Yeah sure, I'll remember your birthday after you've paid my $2,800 eye laser surgery bill.

Actually the price is $1,400 but for some reason I couldn't edit my post. This website has been a bitch to use lately.
