    Leopold Fixed power (8X)

Got a nice, older model 'M' series Leupold up for grabs. I don't really know what the 'M' is meant to stand for...? But i'm guessing it's : "(M)other F#$?ing Awesome" !?

Very classy looking in the gloss finish. It's the type of scope which goes well on a distinguished gentlemans rifle. Few light scuffs on the tube, but it's in very nice nick for its age. Glass is clear (comparable in quality to my VX3s - to my eyes, anyway.

Thin, duplex reticle; fixed 8x power; and with an adjustable parallax at the objective end - all make it a fantastic scope (especially for varmint/rimfire setups) for precise shooting.

Metal turrets too (unlike the plastic on a lot of the newer models). Old school is cool - despite whatever your local hunting and fishing salesperson may have told you.

$300.00 (includes postage) and a 'firm' handshake.

    Cheers.

M prefixed serial number = 1981. I have a similar model/vintage scope but in 3x. Mine is an M8 3x. One of the best heavy cal scopes ever made. Common on African rifles of the day.

Yours and mine, bloody good scopes.

Best of luck with the sale.

    $250.00 you cheap bastards!!

It's a good scope. I've owned several Swarovskis - I don't own or endorse junk. Perfect scope for someone starting out hunting on the tops.

Remember, this scope carries Leupolds lifetime guarantee - despite the age. Knock it or break it: send it directly to Leupold in the US and they'll fix it for free.

Give it some time for people to see it before you give it away. You've only had it listed for 12hrs !

Frodo as a H&F salesman, if someone brought a scope in like this I would tell them it was next to useless , and that they should donate it to me, so that I could keep it next to my 4x32 M8, 6x42 M8 and my 6x42Swarovski Habicht all old school
