Bad luck, I just sold two of them (compact versions) to Micky Duck a month ago! Pretty sure he is using both of them.

Yeah I'm aware of that. I'm glad he's getting good use out of them.

I found a few overseas but it'll cost close to $700 to bring them in (shipping + import duty included).

I'm over European scopes. Have had all sorts of expensive ones, but I'm now quite happy to settle for a basic 4x32. Funny really. It's all I need for the hunting I do. Doesn't take much to stalk in on an animal...even on the tops. And
a small fixed power makes for a quicker pointing/better balanced rifle. Easier on the wallet too.

Yeah I know the feeling, funny how you come full circle and find often the simple things work as well or better. Ive been fucking around with varmint scopes only to settle on a good old Burris 3-9 that does everything I need it to do.
There was a M8 4 x on TM last week or two.

Not a Leupold but I just bought a 3-9 Nikon Buckmaster (refurb) from Natchez; only took about 10-days to get here and cost me NZ156 incl postage, The Prostaff 4x32 is only $83.99US. Refurbs are great deals; I've always bought refurbed Nikon lenses (I'm a freelance photojournlist so they get used hard) and they are always as-new and tons cheaper than new. Just a thought. I'm probably going to get a 4x32 to put on my old 303 if I can find some 19mm dovetail rings for it!

Never wanted your M8's...they're probably covered in saliva.
