    LH little gun

Hey. Iím in the market for a little gun. Something like a 223 or similar. Iíd really like another 6BR or the like but mag feed is preferable. Iím after a rifle mostly for target and NZDA range shooting events then a hunting rifle but in a hunter profile not a benchrest or chassis is preferred. Anything out there?

Greg Hudson at Custom Guns in Invercargill keeps the biggest rack of Lefties you'll see in any gunshop. Might be worth a ring on Monday . . . .

it's not easy to find little LH rifles, there are realy only CZs and a couple of Savage models. Most are larger actions. Toooo many pooo seventies.

I am still looking to replace a 223 and 7.62x39

    All good

Why not just get a barrel for your R93 ?

Or as a rifle is it too 'big' ?

Oh definitely would be keen on another R93 barrel. Should have put that there too. Its not the physical size its more that its far more comfortable to shoot (for me anyway) a lighter recoiling rifle for competitions and general plinking. I don't shoot enough already so a "little gun" will be more inviting.
Whats the mag in a Savage? Single stack? I'd be tempted to go Savage and just make another 6BR if it was easy enough to do.
