    LH Savage .243

    For Sale

Stainless Model 16 Savage Weather Warrior in monster slaying .243
Wears a Senator stock these days, you would probably call it the Mk2 version.
    19" barrel, threaded 1/2UN
Wears a slip on recoil pad as it let me adjust LOP
    Talley 1" low scope rings
    Big knob
    Lee Deluxe Dies
Lee Crimping die (don't think I ever used it actually)
If pick up you also get 40 rounds of Rem 80gr soft points and 89 rounds 95gr targex handloads.

Now if your looking for some sexy beast you can have wet dreams about the grain of the wood then you can stop looking now.

If you want a rifle that does the job, is nicely balanced and brings home the bacon then you need this now.
Yes it's made for real men that's why the bolt is on the left hand side.
Yes, it's got scratches and signs of real use.
Yes, it has been used as a walking stick, dropped and generally treated as the tool it is.

I've had it since new, it's fired around 1600+rnds in it's life and killed more things than a lot of the people reading this.
It loves the 95gr Targex and 85gr Sierra's.

Price $1000 for everything except the green ammo box +Postage
I could potentially send this down to the memorial shoot for collection with @Rushy

Happy to take it but I thought you were going down yourself.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

No, we had to move my son's birthday party from this weekend to next weekend so it's a no go.

I do. But I'm sitting on my hands at this stage. I can't have two of them trashing me.

It weighs, with the talley rings on about the same as a T3 lite bare. It can be made lighter as I put a 2 or 3oz sinker in the butt to get the balance I wanted.

I can actually shoot just as comfortable either way but by default shoot right handed, when I first started as a wee fella I automatically tried to shoot left handed but dad knocked it out of me and I just shoot right handed now

Funny you should say that. I shoot just as badly left handed/eyed with TR's 243 as right handed/eyed with my 243. Generally manage at worst 15mm at 100m.

I got forced to write right handed at school even though I could use either. I can shoot either handed but it was trying to shoot a bow right handed that got me... Had to shoot it left handed and never looked back

PS sorry @Barefoot for Hijacking your thread. Nice rifle and a really good price.
