    Light weight hunting pack.

    Hi guys in the market for a new tramping-hunting pack. Want 65-80ltrs and lighter them my Macpac cascade. Pros and cons please. Mainly tops hunting etc thanks simply pack not a tac-ta-call 15 pocket job.

    Recently brought a new Osprey aether 70 ( being a short harness ) they go bigger than that. Got it from Bivouac on special for around $240-250. light 2kg, Really Impressed, fits great & well made.
    Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

    I've looked at all the local packs and it seems like ULA cataylst is the one to go for.
    I'm going to order one shortly and give it a go. It'll drop 2kg from the nz made cascade

    @Freezer where are you ordering it from? Did you look at the hyperlite 4400 ice pack?

    One Planet packs looks nice.

    ok, thought i'd seen them all! that looks like a nice bit of gear also. I'm after a very light main bag that's simple with a good harness. I wouldn't mind a heavier harness on a light bag.

    I had found a site that listed almost every manufacturers gear weights by item, but i've lost it and can't find it to post a link
