Long shot request - Cigweld Transmig 330 control board

    Hey,

As above I have one of these welders and am short a control board (the one from the remote wire feeder that controls the machine, listed as 704882 in the manual and 705150 as a spare part). These are apparently still listed as a new spare part from Aussie but at close to NZ$1100+gst landed ex Aussie it's just not worth it for a machine of this vintage. I haven't even checked if the part is actually still available at that money!

The wire feeder for this welder is the 2R type, with the spot and stitch functions. If anyone has a lead on one of these boards, or alternatively a spare 2R wirefeeder that can go onto this power source I would be keen to discuss.

    Thanks!

Completely missing. It's ex a commercial outfit that went tits up - I'd say they had pulled the board either to quote for repair or canabalise for the part to keep another going before shutting up shop and liquidating.

I've got the thing basically for free as no history, no fire and pwered it up and the power supply works, fans and lights come on, display lights up but obviously no fire without the control board as there isn't any brains. True Aussie made (shush stop it).

As you say, I'd look at anything as the old non-ECU boards can take a huge amount of abuse before they aren't retrievable in some form!

Apparently the same board is in all models of this series of Transmig welder, 210, 250, 310, and 330.
