Im looking for a better scope for my .308, if you have one for sale pm me of chuck it up in the comments. After something with 4-12+ magnification.

I have a 4-16 Vortex Viper for a grand if interested, in excellent conditions sitting in my gunsafe looking for a new home.

Id go Zeiss Conquest mate. Very good value and some go for cheap as on here at times but 3-9.
Next I'd go 2-7 leupold on a 308. Not what your after I know. Ive had both on 308's and both excellent combinations imo.
Kahles sell for cheap too. Within your budget...That's what's on my 260 and 308's. (2.5-10x50's).

Indeed...My last was $1150 sent so yes more expensive but the other was under 1K.

Got a Burris XTR 3-12x50 with mildot reticle if that's of interest. $650 plus postage. These are older scopes - but damn fine glass.
