    M1 Garand

After a M1 Garand. Its for a friend who wishes to not advertise his details online. He has a C CAT licence, so anything considered.

    Best to PM me.

    Cheers

You only need an E-cat for a Garand, not a C-cat...
There is one in the upcoming Carvells auction, but guessing it will be over $3k, I would guess ~$3.5k...
A nice one sold on here about 6 months ago for $2.6k...

    Technically an A Cat...

Try to find one with a mag that holds eight...

Bastard things always load the eighth round into the chamber

Only if you saw the bayonet lug off, which would be a crime in itself.

Any MSSA or E cat can be held on a C cat licence.

A rifle that COULD be held on an E cat and shot would be much more betterer than a rifle on C that can't (assuming person holds both E and C)

Looked at importing one from the states, found a company that was more than happy to. Fee's weren't to bad either. Would end up similar to what they're getting here in auction. Their recommendation was to get two rifles, rather than just one. Once they got the NZ import permit they'd start the ball rolling their end. Worth looking into.

My partner and I would be keen if the price was right. Can find them here but cost a heap. An import at a better price for 2 would suit us well :-)
