    M14X1LH threading tools

I bought these a while back with the intention of threading an SKS for a M14X1LH Waitaki Engineering can I had. Never got around to it, and use an AR now. Sold the SKS. Sold the can. These tools are sitting idle. $60 for the lot. Free postage.

    Left to right:
    1. 5/8x24 (female) to M14X1LH (male) thread adapter. This would allow you to fit an M14X1LH can on a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle.
    2. M14X1LH thread alignment tool / die starter for a 7.62 bore. Ensures the thread is cut bore-centric.
    3. M14X1LH die.

I assume the die will only work if the OD is correct?

I imagine so. SKS muzzle is 15mm OD, which is perfect.

If you intend to use the front of the front sight base as a shoulder, most of them are crooked, just so you know. Plan a lot of clearances with your baffles...

Would have thought it needed to be turned down closer to 14.3mm

I think the OD is actually 14mm. The major diameter of the thread is 13.974-13.794mm.
