    M77 Ruger .270

    Hi fellas,

For some reason the older I get the harder work it is clambering around the hills chasing meat. It's time ol'e faithful found a new owner with more energy.

I've owned this rifle since new - can't remember when it was purchased but it was before I had grey hairs! While I've had it for a long time, it hasn't done a lot of work. At a guess it's been responsible for harvesting 3-4 animals per year since I've owned it. The crown is in excellent condition.

    About the rig:

    - She holds a nice moa-zero at 200m. Steadier hands than might would probably achieve sub-moa.
    - I am fastidious about looking after my gear so she's been carefully cleaned after each use and regularly when not in active use (which is most of the time).
    - She's been used without a supressor for most of her life but I sent her to the good folks at DPT in April 2019 to get the barrel threaded and a DPT over-barrel supressor installed.
Wow what a difference - it went from bang and wallop to... well... much less bang and considerably less wallop. The supressor hasn't had 20 rounds through it yet so is pretty much new.
    - The rifle is pretty much in original condition other than having the trigger lightened and the barrel free-floated.
    - The Ruger Stainless rings have been on the rifle since day one and are rock solid.
    - The scope is a Nikko Stirling 3-10 x 40 Gold Hunter with a standard Plex Reticle. The lenses are in excellent condition. It ain't a fancy scope but it when you pull the trigger it puts a hole where the crosshairs converge!.

I'm after $1300 for ol'e faithful and I'll chuck in the gunbag and an unused box of ammo. Based in Nelson here but happy to ship via the dealer network at buyers cost.

Nice looking rifle! How much barrel length is inside the suppressor?

Hmm good question. It's a Mark 2 Supressor that's 215mm total length with 95mm forward of the muzzle. So that makes it 120mm of barrel length inside the supressor. Hope that helps
