    Machining of an action

hi guys, not sure where to look for. I have printed an action in 15-5ph and would like to know if a machinist with experience can
ream the boltway hole to the proper size and then true the action.
if someone can do (paid job) just let me know. for now, bolt hole is .6895". i would like it to be .698"
    photo attached.
    cheers

Nice work. The problem is having a reamer of that size. A reamer can be custom ground at pacific tool and gauge and you are probably looking at close to $300 with the bushings. The common sizes seem to be .700 , .705, .710 and .715.

    Bugger me that's clever.

I don't think they will bother with it. Just a rimfire A-CAT action without magazine well.

Check the law carefully, you are manufacturing a rifle and there are specific licences needed. You might possibly be OK if it is for personal use and not for sale.

No need to delete the thread, I was just wanting to make sure you didn't get yourself in trouble.
I found this in the Police Firearms manual

    https://www.police.govt.nz/service/f...anual_2002.pdf

    Page 74.

    1. Persons who wish to manufacture firearms, pistols, MSSA’s or restricted weapons for their
own use are subject to the licensing provisions of the Arms Act 1983. They must hold a
Firearms Licence and any necessary endorsement, and a permit to procure (pistols, MSSA’s
    and restricted weapons).

You only need a dealers licence if you wish to sell the actions.
