    Marlin 1892 in 32 S&W . Unfinished.

I'm wondering if anyone on here might be interested in this. I have had it reblued and oiled but have not been able to find a action bolt to finish it. The chamber and bore are mint. Make me an offer i can't refuse

Could give you a box of Ranfuly or even Waikato beer.
Some people couldn't refuse an offer like that.

sure it isnt in 32 Special caliber? 32 S&W is a piddly little pistol round .....

I’m pretty sure they’re rimfire, 32 special is a long action cartridge developed for the Winchester 1894z

Its most likely chambered for 32 long, the long obsolete centrefire version of the 32 rimfire. Both 32 s&w and 32 colt are supposed to fit ok. The 32 long did about 200 ftlb. It could also be 32/20 which is a pretty handy little number.

It definitely has the small straight chamber . I was told it could use either rimfire or center fire depending on which bolt u used. I don't know much about the Marlins.

Good luck with finding 32 rimfire ammo is the chambering stamped on the barrel? The photos too blurry to see.

I would assume he’s referring to the bolt that forms part of the action and retains the firing pin.
