Delightful pair of rifles Hotbarrels. I sold a pair of 9422s a while back - one 22LR and one 22WMR. I ended up not using them much as was also concerned at marking them as our cantab shooting often from truck. Would be very happy to have a Winnie or the Marlin 39 models in the closet. From experience they would be my preference, but a Miroku/Browning and a Ruger 96 also high on the list. My Henry H001 was a crapper.

If you are still in Chch Southcity, I'd like to have a look at that Marlin sometime... Might stop me buying one. Or might not...

    Sorry, just being a tease.
    These are NOT FOR SALE.
The Marlin's done a bit of work, but the Winchester is as new in the box, but without the box. I'm too scared to take it hunting because its so pretty.

How about both? Hahah yip you are a real tease. Thanks for sharing it's awesome to see someone else has a passion for these stunning rifles. Enjoy shooting them and if you ever want to part with one or both let me know.

Mmmm.. start mentioning the Marlin and Winchester levers and the real lever afficionados come out of the closet..

Their little rimfire levers are beauties, but so too are their centrefire levers. Have had two model 94 Winchesters in 30-30 and love the design, the slim, light, easy in the hand dimensions of the rifle. Found it ideal for northern bush shooting. Also big fan of Marlin 336 - would be delighted to have one in the closet in 30-30, 45-70, 450 etc. Absolute classics.
