    Marlin XS7 7mm-08

This was my first CF hunting rifle when i first took up big game hunting a few short years ago. It was my only CF rifle for a few years until the gun-nut bug bit me hard ;-)

I have a new rifle coming soon and need to make room in the safe.

I would have shot more animals with this one rifle than i have with any one of the others that i have now, heres just a couple to prove that a humble little cartridge like the 7mm-08 can actually kill things for you disbelievers ;-)

It's in pretty good order, some slight rubbing off of the blueing around where i held it, the odd little sratch on the plastic stock from hunting. Pretty much everything i ever fired this thing at fell over. I have upgraded from the factory plastic trigger guard to the alloy one, other than that its original apart from the trigger has been adjusted down lighter.

Seems to shoot ok for a cheaper factory rifle, heres some 100 yards targets shot with my handloads...

Great for someone starting out that doesnt want to spend much but wants a rifle that shoots well and gets the job done, or as a spare or loaner rifle. I leant it to a mate that had trouble with his hunting rifle, i gave him 6 rounds of ammo, and told him it was sighted 2.5" high @ 100yds. He shot 6 deer from 6 yards to 286 with it ;-)

It will come with the weaver bases and the Burris Signature Zee rings with offset inserts (scope not included). Wanting $550 shipped (non-rural) a bit extra for rural or SI.

Good little rifles these, I used one years ago as a "fill in" bush gun and shot n carried really well, plus the accutrigger would make it a great beginner or cheap alrounder.
