Mauser 98, 7x57. Hand made, walnut stock. Action/metal work done by Alan Carr and Hugh Bradley.

    10/10 barrel condition.

Had about 7k poured into it.

    Reasonable offers welcome.

Was this rifle stored at Alans? If it was I,ve handled it and just want to apologise for dribbling all over it

Haha, it may have been. Yes, that is what I was alluding to by saying 'it's had 7k poured into it'. Your saliva is one of a kind, and has without doubt given this rifle some value.

This rifle build was also featured in an issue of Guns and Hunting magazine.

2900.00, and that will include the scope, dies, brass (and case), strap and gun case. That's a bargain for what you're getting.

I forgot to mention...The front bead, has a quick detach. So you can purchase various other beads from NECG, and switch them out depending on your application. The bead currently on the rifle is polished brass, but this can be replaced with various fibre optic beads etc.

This gives you flexibility. Use the open sights in the Bush...then chuck on the scope with quick detach rings when you get to the tops.

Decided to hang onto it for the meantime. Weak moment I guess. Rather not lose a lot of $$ on it.

Might just cut it to 16", put a dpt suppressor on it and put on a 20x scope for those long shots.

Don't be daft that's what T3's are for.
