    Maxtoch 2X - latest version

I have 3 of the latest Maxtoch 2X, 360kcd 1400 lumens and 1200m range. I bought them as part of a group buy on budget light forum, and needed to get the numbers up to a level for it to go ahead.

$160 plus $5 posted to your door

Also have 1 set of batteries, $18 each

@ bucti - That group buy doesn't sound like it got you a very good price. I just bought 2 direct off Aliexpress for NZ$132 each, and that includes postage.

Yea it was only a saving of $8 per torch - thought I might as well bring a few over if people wanted them faster /easier etc

Still heaps of people round who prefer not to buy off the net - who'd rather grab something locally.

Choicetorch NZ sell them online here for $169.95 so $160 is fine. Still a huge saving over say the led lensers from local shops and a 2X will outperform them by a mile.

Last combined testing of peak output for 7-8 lights showed average 364,000 lux (364kcd), which equates to just over 1200 meters down to equivalent of full moonlight on target. This is on high beam which has no stepdowns after 2-3 minutes like most high performance models, and will last continuous 70-75 minutes. But we set medium mode up at 250-260k lux or 1000 meters plus also . This is the mode for normal hunting and has runtime over 100 minutes at continuous full noise. With the usual on/off for the light with getting in and out of truck, stopping for a yarn, reloading etc, I normally find one set of batts on med lasts more like 2.5 hours. A couple of spare sets in yr shirt pocket and you've got alot of nite shooting time.
