Maybe for sale, my Toyota Landcruiser

Fellas, I'm considering selling my Landcruiser. Only to upgrade.

It's an 02 HZJ105 from Australia. 4.2 1HZ motor. Five speed manual. Solid front axle.

Done 275,000kms. Serviced well throughout its life.

Generally tidy, only a few stone chips, scratches which will buff out with a good polish etc.

Too much info to list on here, but if you are interested or know anyone that may be, get them to PM me for more info etc.

This is the ultimate go anywhere truck that will do it reliably and in comfort. It is extremely capable off road.

Price wise, probably looking in the vicinity of $25,000

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

No it isn't, standard 1HZ with pacemakers and free flow exhaust. Would be nice turbo but don't need really it and fuel figures are better than the 1HD-T. Still tows a 2.5 tonne boat at highway speed no problem.

Waiting to talk with the guy who's selling the truck I'm keen on before committing to anything.

I have one of these. mine is a 2001 imported from Australia, I've only done 103000 km's. brought it off a friend that never used it, so cheap to run, a 4.2 that's cheaper to run than anything I've owned. Hunting and towing is all you need, who needs a turbo, we have a speed limit and I could use a tank full in 3 hours but I prefer to cruise in top gear, these trucks are good for a million miles, its the body that goes first. Rego is the most stupid price out, $500 because it is rated to tow 3 tonne, how often do you tow a heavy load, milage is off this planet but the prise to run it makes up 10 fold. Bringing home the firewood is a breeze, petrol's are so gutless to tow with. I'm very lucky to own one.

After a yarn with the guy who's selling the truck I was keen on, and thinking about it all night I've decided to keep mine. It wasn't as tidy, or well set up as mine, even with lower kms and being newer.

Finding a replacement truck that is as versatile and reliable is going to be a mission, so I'm not rushing into buying something else.

Thanks to the guys who PM'd me with their interest
