    MINI MAUSER M85 - 223

Bought this on a whim - was going to get @Wingman to use it as a donor to build a 6mm223 but to be honest it probably will either not get done or never used (I might even admit I have a few too many in the safe) - Synthetic stock (believe these are 1 in 12 twist for 55gn projectiles) - Tidy little Rifle with a pretty good standard trigger (not set trigger unit as best I can tell)

RIFLE with Mounts and Rings only $800

SCOPE ADDITIONAL - Pentax Gameseeker II 3-9x40 - ADD $75

Happy to organise transport to meet throughout Wairarapa or can get to Wellington

PM is best as I shift work

    More Photos on request

Lucky guy @Hunter_Nick only thing that might need work is the stock it's one of the plastic banana ones and is pressure bedded. A proper bedding job and free floating can make an amazing difference.
The trigger will be ajustable for travel and weight but the action has to be removed from the stock to do it. Somewhere I have the directions if you need them.
Also it probably won't handle heavier than 65 grain projectiles as they were mostly 1:12 twist with only a few being 1:10. I have a 1:10 but never go heavier than 62 grains.

Hi @Marty Henry yes a copy of the trigger adjustment instructions would be grand if you could manage it.

Iím not too worried about the stock, I have this awaiting and ready to carved into a nice stock for it

I built it as a Fallow rifle - use 70 gr Sierra HP projectiles. Outside of sighting in targets I really have no idea how it groups , but it definately shoots minute of fallow and goat. Which is what I had in mind all those years ago when I started accumulating parts ......

Its pleasant to shoot too - although it is quite heavy.
