MKV Weatherby Ultralight is a damn fine rifle. Got a couple in my gun safe - they are both very accurate, light weight rigs. Surely some one has the coin.

Not on the standard calibre mkV action.

My Dad has been mumbling about a 270. He really liked my 280 Ultralightweight.

If you have a 270 you've already been reamed. And @Toby reckoned they're rubbish, and gay, and ...

I will get one one of these days.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!

.270 Gibbs. Does it on the standard bolt face, leaves AI for dead in some calibres. Gives .270Wby performance for less powder and recoil, but is a pain in the arse to form. RCBS do dies for it.

Best way to form without double stepping is to use an old 303 and cut it down and set it up to attach the full length die to it and fireform the case

Wonder if Ryan wants a .270.......

Oh well, it looks like I might have to look at doing some basic load development for it while I wait for someone to get all excited and grab it from me.
