Classic Weatherby, 270 and need a muzzle brake. I have one in 338 win mag and its a pig of a thing to shoot. Wasted hundreds of dollars at Dean Maiseys getting a brake fitted and its little better, should of bought a good stock for it

So you think it's the rifle fit or stock... Mine is now in .284 with a OB can on. It's beautiful to shoot...

Mmmmm, not sure what you are getting at, presumably, you don't want to buy it, but feel the need to stick an oar in anyway. 6lb rifles with 22" barrels loaded hard tend to kick enough to interfere with your sight picture, makes perfect sense to me to ID the hit and be able to get back on for a second shot. For the record, for a number of years, my only hunting rifle was a 300 Weatherby, loaded hard, no muzzle brake, no suppressor, and I could offhand shoot 1.5 ltr coke bottles at 200 with it,BET YOU CAN'T.

Its just those stocks and i dont like each other. Nice rifle and fair price, good luck.
P.S shooting coke bottles off hand at 200 use to be a party trick of mine

Willing to sell as bare rifle only, make a realistic offer.
