    Model Seven 260rem

For Sale, Remington Model Seven stainless/synthetic in 260Rem

This has been a great wee gun, but I find I just haven't been giving it the use it deserves.
Would consider selling bare or with Leupold PRW steel rings and Zeiss Terra 3-9 with the rz6 reticle.
Has been bedded and bolt fluted, factory 20" barrel threaded and fitted with Gunworks duralium suppressor.
This would be a great package all ready to go for the roar, shoots 120 amax @2850 into tiny ragged hole groups and 139 scenars @2740 into .6" can supply load data with the rifle, have also started developing a 140 vld load which is looking promising.

    $1250 rifle and suppresor.

$1650 rifle, suppresor, scope and rings, hornady new dimension dies.

    Factory Federal 120gr Nosler BT...

    120 Amax...

Forgot to mention, for those who dont know the .260 calibre, this would be a great setup for someone thats sensitive to recoil as especially shooting 120gr it is very soft shooting, but due to the great selection of high bc/sd 6.5mm projectiles it punches well above its weight. I have only shot chamois with this rifle in a hunting scenario but have shot a rogue 550kg cow that had a broken leg and nobody could get near at nearly 300 yards (neck shot) and it sacked her on the spot, very impressive from the .308 parent case.

Yes, I am in two minds about moving it on as it could quite possibly become very loved by myself if I put time and effort into using it, call me old fashioned but I just cant seem to walk away from the good old 270.... I know, I am a sick individual.. haha
