Thread: NEA 12.5" Patrol Carbine Suppressed

Great little carbine I've had for a couple of years fired approximately 1200-1300 rounds. Currently on Ecat but will be transferring it to A in the next couple of weeks unless someone is keen for it on E.

Would like to keep optic, MBUS sights, stock, grip, and buffer assembly.

Overall condition is very good, has an adjustable gas block and has been tuned perfectly to run well with a variety of commercial ammo. Recoil impulse is very smooth and the picture of group was 16 shots @ 100m off a bag with the Sig Sauer red dot, fired relatively quickly. Suppressor & gas block was done by Robbie Tiffen @ Gunworks. Is a Maximus one

All you will need to finish is your choice of Acat stock or grip/stock and buffer tube, buffer & spring.

Sure is, shot that group with regular Fiochi 55gr FMJ's. This has been my current rig for service rifle which in all honesty has done all right in matches with this setup.

However I am procuring a more "traditional" setup instead of being an underdog in open class hence the sale. Best group I shot at a match with same ammo & rifle combo was a fist sized group @ 200m prone on a fig 11.

Yeah I mean I've had groups shrink less when using a magnified optic sitting around 1.5"-2" @ 100m which is pretty respectable. You running the same heavy mil-spec trigger?

no got a 2 stage schmiesser also changed the barrel for one of spanners 14.5" barrel on it now as well i think the main problem with my one was the barrel nut was loose from new are you hand loading for yours im runing a mae can on mine

I found my 18" DMR shot like a laser with 77 gr SMKs but yes with anything else 2" was OK. They are a great little rifle, interestingly my 7.62 x 39 version will shoot 2" groups with Chi-Com and considerably better with Barnaul. Never had a problem with either.

I only shot commercial ammo, never tried handloads or heavier rounds but with a 1/7 twist I'd imagine groups would be better with heavy projectiles.
