    a Nice FN Browning Trombone

FN Browning takedown pump - often referred to as the Browning "Trombone" - 22lr Has never been drilled or tapped for scope. Butstock has been poorly refinished. Would be easy to strip and refinish in a nice Swedish oil. These things go for $US2,000 on Gun Br$$er. This one is selling for $800.

That could be just a little expensive with permits...

The same gun would struggle to get $450 here. As always headed off by the Winchesters which go for much more.

Sent a pm to him letting him know that selling this to nz is not going to be realistic

Canada isn't the same as the US. There are no export fees on firearms from Canada ... no ATF form 6 things or whatever. ITAR is a US regime.

Guns are easy to export between Canada and NZ while meeting all proper requirements. Shipping costs to NZ are not that high, especially on handguns. Many folks from NZ regularly import firearms and accessories from the US - where guns are much more expensive (than Canada) and the hassles are MUCH greater. Besides that, many of the guns I've listed are unique.

It is the buyer's prerogative what they buy and where they buy it from.

Gun enthusiasts from Canada and New Zealand should connect more. It is actually easier for Canadians to buy guns and gun accessories from New Zealand than from the US (and besides most Kiwis and nicer folks than some Yanks anyway)

    Cheers

    @C96guy

    I'd be interested to know

Can you buy S&W 460xvr revolvers on Canada and export them to NZ?

Been trying to get one out of the States but Donald and His Mates are blocking my attempts .......... They are paranoid about exporting stuff like this.

    Cheers

Yeah unfortunately I think Canadians still have to get ITAR approval to get the guns (legally) out of the US so back to square one. Canadian made AR's ar however good to go but almost as cheap here.

Hmmm - how are you getting them shipped - several years ago I bought a Winchester 1885 Low-wall in 260 (this is the Miroku version) but even though I got the export documentation in a straightforward process I never could find anyone who could carry it (they all ran into problems with going via a US port/airport). Luckily I was able to sell it at a modest profit after 18 months or so of trying.

Are you talking about exporting from the US or from Canada? These really are two different countries. Don't you tire of people muddling up NZ with Auz? Same thing. There are nearly 200 countries on this planet. The US is one. Canada is another. There is a nice big World out there.

C96s - I know the difference between Canada and the US (I'm not an insular north american) and yes it was in Canada. I sent you a PM but nothing heard (you do know what a PM is don't you??).

    I'm not a dealer, I just am selling my own spare guns. I don't have a S&W 460xvr.

    All good

Had to give it a crack cos those bloody Mary Cans just don't want me to export one without greasing all of their bloody palms on the way through.
