    Nikon Monarch HG 10x42

I have for sale an excellent condition pair of Nikon Monarch HG 10x42 binoculars. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing these due to their awesome reviews and ratings.

I am now moving them on as I have moved to a range finder bino setup. I would love to keep these. However, finances will not allow both.

Current Retail on a new set of these is $2148. I am after $1700 to your door.

These would suit someone looking for a new condition set of binos at a reduce price to get you into some amazing glass.

I have tried to take as best photos possible to show what excellent condition they are in. Not a mark on the lens as have always used a bino case with lens covers on the whole time. Although the lens covers are annoying at times keeping them attached in a bino case while using they have done wonders to protect glass.

The only imperfection is where some of my sweat has created a small area of magnesium oxide of the magnesium body while kept in bino case out hunting.

Do your research and see what great reviews these have there are a number of post on the forum about them.

I have attached a review for reference from rokslide which I found very useful.

Like you I too did a lot of research & settled on the hg’s in 10x42, & run a Leica rangefinder to reduce the risk if electronics fail I had the budget for euro Bino’s but there was no discernible difference to my eyes, so opted to save $$. Great buy for someone

These are very good binos without doubt and lightweight too, but you might be up against it for pricing because they came down in price last year on specials from $1800 ish down down to $1300 and have now gone back up, so some people may have a lower price expectation for second hand. Most second hand optics seem to achieve about 60% of new price.

Wish I’d seen them at $1300 that would make them the best deal ever at that price

It seems I may be off on pricing. Wish I had seen them at $1300 now they are north of $2100 to purchase. They must know how good they are.

I’m dropping price to $1650 TYD

$1625 TYD. I would consider these to be for someone looking for near new condition Binos except the small area of oxidisation.
    Lenses are mint
