    No 4 spike bayonet, poor condition.

    I'm looking at a suppressor project for my LE No 4.
    Has anyone got a spare No 4 spike bayonet in poor / rusty / bent condition? No scabbard required. Only need the rear locking mechanism to be intact.
    Out of historical respect I will not cut off the spike.

    The Otorohanga Antique arms show. A guy had two fruit boxes worth I think. His entire stand was bayonets.

    I think no big can needed with a TB subsonic load, or even a full cartridge of TB if you retain the full 24" barrel.

    @Tertle

    Thanks for asking round. I'm not necessarily looking for a donated / freebie one.

    Challenge, I expect, will be to line up exit hole, and to what extent you can reduce "play" around the axis - which again will determine how small one could drill the exit hole.

    Anyone know who the bayonet seller at the show was?

    @40mm

    This is maybe what your looking for re your project. Seems cleverer way to affix to the gun than an old bayonet base, but I read somewhere this particular device was poorly made and would come apart.
