    Nosler Custom 280AI.

Selling this to fund a bit of gear for a deserving hunter.

    280 Ackley Improved

    24" barrel, 1:9 twist, medium/heavy contour, 228 rounds fired.
    Mag length 3.30"

    3.4Kg bare with talleys rings.

Some rub marks along the barrel and a couple chips on the stock which I will take photos of.

Shoots 168gr vld very well and I was playing with the 150 Scirocco when I got my K95 and I haven't touched any of the other rifles since!

I can supply redding competition dies at a cheap extra cost.

    $2000.

These are the only photos I have at hand, will update with current photos tomorrow afternoon.

That's some fairly severe marks on the stock....what sort of finish is it and could it be repaired effectively ?

The actions are clearly made by Howa with a few different angles here and there. You could make one of these rifles out of bits for under the cost of a new one. They charge about $4 to $4.5k for a new one....
Pac-nor barrel, rifle basix trigger, unsure who makes their stocks.

No they are not made by Howa, but they are a very close copy! Howa bottom metal does not fit as the bolt spacing is too short.

PT&G make parts for them, they might even make the action.

They are very nice and the only reason I sold mine was it was a 708!

Which model of Nosler is it? And your typical groups size.
    It's an interesting rifle.

Custom 48. #51 made going by the serial number. The berger Vld shot really well in it. I would be bullshitting if I said any particular group sizes though, I just loaded to max the backed off and changed seating depth till I got the tightest from each powder/bullet combo I tried. Some were tight as hell one ragged hole some were over two inch groups depending on what I was trying. only the Swift 150gr gave me trouble with erratic groups till I changed powder from n165.

Ive read there's a big difference between the custom 48 and the trophy grade as well as the regular 48. Ie cast reciever vs machined etc as well as the stock is the rifle stamped to indicate it's the custom 48?
    Cheers

The floor plate has the Nosler Custom mark. Kokako would know the difference between them all.
