Nxs and a couple of leupold scopes

Got some scopes to move on that are now surplus due to changing a couple of things up.
Hopefully photos show up. light cleaning marks on the leupold lenses. Tried to take pics of this the 2-7 has a few external marks and a small scratch on rear lense (rings not included) the 3-9 is pretty mint.

The nxs 2.5-10 32 compact is tidy with some very minor marks on the body, comes with box etc and bell end flip up cap other end is not there, illuminated reticle velocity 600 great all round scope with the capped turrets.

    Vari x 11 2-7 $250 tyd
    Vari x 11 3-9 $290 tyd
    Nxs $2000 tyd
Rural may be a tad more

Happy to put some more pics up if need be. Cheers

Which velocity reticle is the Nightforce best suited to? i.e. LV, MV or HV?

Hi @gqhoon it really depends on alot of things, you would have to set it up to your particular load. A slower load with same projectile is going to drop faster than a faster load with same projectile, so 600yd mark might actually be a 500yd impact if that makes sense?

How dim can you reduce the reticle illumination down to?

During the day in cloudy conditions, you can reduce it to almost not visible illumination. And in full darkness, the lowest setting is just visible, to my eyes anyway.

I bought the exact same model when nightforce first put it out. Excellent scope with good features in a compact size.

My understanding of the Velocity 600 reticle is that there are 3 different versions available (LV, MV and HV). You purchase the version that best suits the ballistics of the rifle / ammo combo you'll be running. There should be something in the literature with the scope as to which version of reticle it is?

You are correct, it is MV ill attach a couple of pics, I also tried to take a photo of the illuminated reticle at lowest power but was struggling, I'll try again later on @WoodyName: IMG_20211126_090913.jpg

I am curious because I have an early version of that scope. The illum settings at lowest brightness are too bright for late dusk, blotting out the deer; but the later models have an adjustment screw under the battery which allowed dimmer illum settings so I wonder if your scope can get illum set so dim that it is not daylight visible but only barely visible just on dark?
