    NZ Hunter Tikka Carbon Stock

    Hey team,

Reluctantly I have a NZ Hunter Tikka T3/T3X stock made by Southfort Labs (Kiwi Composites) for sale.
I recently upgraded to larger optics and put a 20 MOA rail on which has caused the scope to be too high for this stock.
I plan to change to a stock with a adjustable cheek height from the same maker.
This stock is almost new, only been on a couple short hunts and to the rifle range.
Itís glass bedded with a titanium recoil lug, so hopefully your rifle will be a drop in fit.
Last time I checked with the big green hunting shop they said the stocks were $1300, though Iím not sure if this is still current pricing.
    $850

    Nice spotting.
    It's a Lumley Arms shroud.
I do believe Delta Tactical in Aus sells them.

Did you install it with the spring provided? (Sorry for Hijacking your thread) i just got one and I greased it where the trigger pin cam slides as per the instructions, but with the spring installed it makes trigger pull really heavy! Take the spring out and the shroud is slightly loose (like a factory one) but trigger pull is back to normal

I have encountered the same issue causing a stiff closing of the bolt when using the spring. It would be resolved removing a single coil at the end of the spring. That been said I don't worry about installing the spring, I'm normally sitting on a hillside waiting for deer with this rifle, if I was stalking through the bush I probably would use it with a trimmed down spring to stop any rattle.

They are definitely a nice stock and would sort my cheek sizing.
I already have placed my order tentative order for a Southfort Labs long range stock so will have to say no at this point in time.
