    Old hunting books

An old boy down the road has given me some old hunting books...... he was going to throw them out.
Reading Sarvo's commercial thread I realised there may be some value in them.

On a previous occasion, he gave me some old and un used reloading gear, which I told him had some value and then proceeded to get a few hundred dollars for him. He was chuffed and I was happy to be able to put that twinkle in his eye.

I would like to do that for him again.

I have no idea of whether they have any value

Hunter climb high by Keith Severinsen

Hunter for hire by Rex Forrester & Neil Illingworth

Big game hunting in New Zealand by Gary Joll

The red stags of the Rakaia by D Bruce Banwell

Hunting in Westland by Lew Sutherland

    Deer hunter by Joff Thompson

Four wheel drive swagman by Jeff Carter

If anyone can shed any light on their value I will offer them only here not the yellow place

    There will be others......

Yes that Book is the pick - but I think you might be like me and thinking in past - they are not the value they once were
Banwell "The Royal Stags of Windsor" strugled to get $50 last week
Think this Rakai is more value though - but not so sure these days

Stug calling the Thomson Deer Hunter at $5 - yes maybe for a paperback but not a hard back
Should be $30 min for Hard Back

Bruce could never figure out why The Royal Stags of Windsor wasn't as big a seller as his other works, he once told me he considered it to be his finest work in research and documentation.
Red Stags of the Rakaia holds it's value if it's in very good condition and in original dust jacket.

Ok the RED STAGS OF RAKIA is a hard cover with a good jacket
It says on one of the inside pages first published 1970 then there is a C in a circle followed by D. Bruce Banwell

Further down the page is ISBN 0 589 00485 9 Doesnt mean jack to me but maybe this is a first edition?
@Kudu the other two books mentioned on a page in the book written by the same author are Wapiti in NZ and Highland Stags of Otago

The HUNTER CLIMB HIGH is a signed copy and looks like a first edition also The jacket is a little rough but the pages are in good order and the spine appears tight, and wants to close the pages for you. all the photographs are shiny and clear

@Hazzid i dont mind shipping but not at my cost, I might as well just give the postage fee to my friend and bin them.
Any genuine offers please put them on here publicly, I dont want to start a bidding war, but just want a fair price for me old mate.
Any particular questions etc I am happy to answer to the best of my ability.

the ISBN number explained - its an individual identification number - you know - like a NAIT tag but with a system that actually works
