    P14 stock wanted.

My old cobber needs a stock for his P14. Consider wood or plastic. Any thoughts on what's available or do you have one for sale? Thanks for any info.

    you and me both.
Couple of mobs do them in the states, but don't think either of them export or at least the one I tried anyway. see attached
    Richards Microfit Gunstocks
Good prices otherwise but if it breaks a hundy it gets a PITA with export permits and such unless you can get some-one to get it and forward it over.
Boyds can be got here in NZ.
Otherwise its a bit of a dry pond for the P14

Thanks guys. Yes Steve123 a P17 stock fits reasonably easy with a little bit of a fiddle. A P14 stock on to a P17 is not so much!
I've told me old mate that it's probably better to sell what he has and buy a modern rifle in the calibre he wants (he intended to sporterize and 'wild cat' the P14). So by the time he bought a new stock and barrel (plus gunsmithing charges) he would be falling down a deep 'rabbit hole' of costs.
I'm sure some one out there wants a P14 anyway.
But Steve123...if you have a stock he may be interested anyway as his stock is a wee bit sad.

Yeah I could do, I bought a sporterised '17 for the un-fired criterion barrel on it.Was going to swap the new barrel on to my old full wood '17 and make a bush cannon out of the left over bits. Ended up building a Howa 30-06 so don't need the sporterised stock. I'll post up a photo when I remember to bring my camera home from work or get my new phone set up.

@Steve123 what would you be doing with the barrel?

That's for when the original made in 1918 barrel finally shits itself. The muzzle ends almost a musket but it still shoots of with whitetail and Belmont 150's. The sporter was bought for barrel only so moving on the stock will mean it easier to store
