I’m about to dive into another project gun and sadly these two spend too much time on the racks.

Sako Finnwolf .308 cal (second rifle from the bottom in photo)

Beautiful rifle. It has been bedded sometime in the past, and has been rebarrelled with a heavy barrell. Bluing is in good order. Threaded for a suppressor - I have never used it with one.

5 shots land within 1 inch at 100m using factory Hornady 150gr Superformance SST (#80933). When I first test fired it I was with John Hall (local gunsmith) and he said he has never come across such an accurate lever action.

It has been hunting once but because it is so nice you are constantly worrying about it out in the scrub.

I have installed weaver scope mounts, as the standard Sako ones are very limited in what you can fit. It has Warne Maxima quick detach rings and currently has a Leupold VX3 3.5-10x40 Matte Duplex scope in new condition still (these scopes are $1199 locally).

If you are interested will let this go for $1800ono without scope/rings. $2500ono including scope/rings.

Winchester M88 .308 cal (bottom rifle in photo)

I believe the previous owner has owned it since 1967.

This lever action is also very accurate with sub inch groups using Winchester Super X 308 Win 180gr. The action is silky smooth and such a pleasure to shoot - just like the Sako.

The scope on this is a Leupold VX2 3-9x40 Matte Duplex scope again in new condition (these scopes are $629 locally).

The stock had a minor professional repair years back,doesn't affect rifle at all and is in much nicer condition than most if the 88's that come up on trademe now and then.

If you are interested will let this go for $1200ono without scope/rings. $1700ono including scope. Will be going on TM for $1499 bare rifle.

Both very nice. Dad has a m88 in 284. I almost bought a finnwolf a couple years back, but was scared of breaking it so decided to give it back.
