The VICTORINOX Swibo Curved Skinning Knife 15cm Nylon Handle appears to be a direct copy of that @annzer.

Looks like it would do the business.....not sure that I would want to drag it with me into the field, but around home and the farm it would be good.

F L Bone in Hastings sell the EICHER knives. I got most of those knifes when I lived in the States, two of the best I picked up in Argentina. Going to give them away as my daughters don't want them but my wife likes them hanging in the kitchen for now. https://flbone.co.nz/online-store/skinning-knife/

Thanks for that @annzer. Couldn't see the brand on it anywhere so rang customer support. They confirmed the are an Eicher (pronounced acre....that threw me a little). Wasn't immediately in the market for a skinner like such but definitely would fit into my collection at home here where we do 90% of our skinning.

    Cheers
    Phil

So is this a mini Mercator? It doesn't have the blade lock on the back.Name: 20210904_151845.jpg

Found mine. Hiding in plain sight in the farm bike pannier. Purchased in 1978. Skinned a few possums. Sharpened a few times.
